Peter Pan
Mary Darling, mother of John, Wendy and Michael would be qualified as the classic mother figure, caring, protective and loving. Her concern for her children and the peace of the household represents the domestic load expected and somewhat imposed on mothers.

Other than her short appearances at the start and end of the movie, the children, Wendy specifically, refer to Mary throughout the movie in a song called "Your Mother and Mine" reminding her brothers of their mother's importance.
