DUMBO

Mrs Ella Jumbo, whose whole plotline revolves around her protective and motherly nature is put in solitary confinement by the circus ringmaster after getting violent towards her son's bullies. She ultimately serves as a motivator for little Dumbo to achieve success and is released/saved by her son.

Her aggressiveness towards the evildoers bothering her son is both due to her animalistic protective nature as a mother and portrays her as an exemplary mother, taking risks to save her child's life, at the detriment of her own.
